How do I know if I need a coach?
You can read this article for some signs you could benefit from coaching.

How is coaching different from counseling?
Coaching is action and future oriented. How do I get to where I want to be? Opposed to where you’ve been and the baggage you’ve accumulated. Counseling is focused on working through long-standing issues and is more retrospective.

How is coaching different from consulting?
In essence, consultants, after assessing the situation, make recommendations and goals for you to implement. Coaching involves you setting your own goals after thorough exploration of your priorities and resources.

Is coaching only for those who feel they are failing or struggling?
Absolutely not! Think about it – athletes, business executives and anyone who wants to improve their performance or quality of life engage coaches.

How long does the coaching process last?
The simple answer is as long as you feel you are benefiting from the process. You are totally in control. Most of us know it takes time to make meaningful change. Generally speaking a commitment of three months is advisable. Initially coaching sessions are more frequent tapering off as progress is made. However, if you feel you are on track and achieving your goals in less time – more power to you!
